fibonacci numbers

So do any of you know about fibonacci numbers if you don't no problem. Fibonacci numbers is a never ending pattern. Do you guys get this pattern 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,                                                                               So 0+1 =1  1+1=2                                                                                                                                             1+2=3,                                                                                                                                                          2+3=5 and so on so on, so now do you get what I mean.

Did you know that it is actually a spiral. Its really cool and that nature makes a fibonacci spiral  in like pine cones and lots more, fibonacci numbers is pretty cool right.

Week 10 ( last week)

This week our priorities were different because last week we went to a farm called pihitia. This week we had to do some questions about the farm but we still had to do maths whizz and a blog. The questions were like Choose 2 animals found on Pihitia Station and research about it and lots more questions. It was pretty easy because I live on a farm. My favourite activity was design your own farm because you can put cows in and sheeps and horses and lots more.

My next favourite subject was name all of the pest at pihitia station it was easy because I hunt pest because they kill our native birds, our priorities was so easy this week and it was our last week at school to! Thursday we get to buy ice cream to!

Pihitia farm

On Tuesday we went to a farm called Pihitia. We learnt how to make cheese, get meat, kill pests, and all of the farm stuff they do.  First, we went to making cheese, we put milk in a bottle and shook it until we made cream. and we saw a small dairy cow that we could milk.  We learned that there are lots of dairy products like milk, cheese, ice cream and whipped cream. Then we went to the meat cutting. The butcher cut up lamb (but they did have an amazing life) he cut it up to eat, they taste amazing, especially chops on the barbecue!

We saw a sheep get shorn (my dad did it) it is just a haircut for them. Wool is made into carpets and, jerseys and lots more, there was even a surfboard made from wool. Next, we saw a drone flying because some farmers use them for mustering (like the farm we went to). After that, we went to go weigh sheep and the biggest sheep we weighed was 65kg. That was so much and the sheep that we weighed were called ewes (girl sheep). When we had been to all of the stations, we hopped on the bus we waved goodbye and left.  Overall it was a pretty awesome day.
