kapa haka

 when  I arrived at school I put my moko on my face,then we went to the hall to record our songs,we couldn't do It In front of a crowded because covid of course.

Then the kaea said kia mo then when sang our first song, It was Utaina we all sang the song then the boys did a Haka while the girls sang Utaina again and we all finished at the same time. Ka Waiata was next, after It was E Rona. Then Ka Pana was when  the girls were going back and the boys were going forward to the front.  It was a catchy song.

Then It was my favourite song, the Haka this was our second haka, and It was  the best one. Max and Staves lead  It, It was so loud it sounded amazing!I loved It. After the Haka the boys went back to the back and we sang our last song. It Toia Mai then we did another  Haka while the girls sang Toai Mai  again and we finished at the same time.Then we were done kapa haka for the year, it was fun.

Ilminster green team play

Finally we arrived at Ilminster intermediate play. Then the guy that dose all the music for the play introduced himself. Then nanny koura came on it was a kid dressed up as a crayfish and was telling her grandchild's a story. Then she said another one it was about how she saved the world from aliens.

The aliens was from trash world and they were looking for another place to dump there trash because they run out of room at trash plant so they came to earth. They dump there rubbish at a skate park then these kids came and they saw a robot that the aliens ditched with all the rubbish then the kids told nanny koura she told them to teach them the three r.

 They told the robot to sigle the aliens so he did. Then they came down to earth and nanny koura talked to them and before she could talk to them they thought she was the long lost trash queen and she told the aliens to not dump there rubbish at earth.Then they cleaned up the rubbish and once they were done the kids had to clean up there rubbish since they were littering to. 

 I learnt not to litter. this play was amazing and you should not litter  to.

Multi sport

 On Monday we lert a new game could Multi sport! it was really fun and all we had to do is when our teacher throws i a soccer ball we go play soccer but we have 4 groups and we have number like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ect.

My favourite one is frisbee because there are two goals and we have to get the frisbee in the goal and we are not allowed to move with the frisbee because you have to past to your team to score.Soccer is my next favourite all you have to do is to kick the ball in to the goal.Then its touch, touch is when you have a oval ball and you past to your team to score a try and if you get touch by the other people on the other team that is 1 touch and if you get touched 5 times it a hand over. It really fun then our teacher blows the whistle then  you have to come in then it is the other teams turn to play the game that the teacher throws in

If you don't no a game to play, play this it is really fun.      

Athletics

 Athletics, finale, I'm ready to win. First we had to watch the little kids run. My sister was racing, she got 4th in her sprints so she didn't make it in to the finale. Then it was my turn, first we did the 200m sprints and I got third in heats and just made it in to the finale and got 6th.

Next we had ball throw I got 20m and got 11th I think, yet still  I was preety happy. Then I had long jump i'm excellent at long jump so I got 1st, with my first jump, then someone bet me. So that made 2nd and had 2 more jumps to WIN, Then all of a sudden it all went downhill I fell back and could only make it paste Rori Then ended up with 2nd.

Then we had 100m sprints I felt good about this one, I ended up getting 1st in my heats. Then got 3rd in the finale, I was so proud of myself! High jump was last, I got kicked out on my first go, but I wasnt that disappointed. Over all I was really happy in athletics because in the end I got 3rd and 2nd.

Term 4

 Term 4, I was so excited to see my friends. We had this cool new thing called art study, I was in the group that was doing Pete Cromers art. If you don't no what im talking about he basically put  paper on paper to make art, just search up pete cromer if you don't know what I'm talking about.

We are doing speeches too! I'm not really excited for speeches because I'm not a confident speaker our topic is about going for gold it a thing that our school just achieved there is  bronze then silver then green gold! I'm doing it about why we should not stop at green gold.

Athletes are coming soon too, last year I got 3rd in long jump, for our school. Then we went to Inter schools and I won it! Inter school is all the schools in gisborne I am so existed for this term. 

Cross Country

 Cross country was today when we got there we were second i took of my jersey and Boom we started, my heart was going so fast. I was coming 5th i tried to stay 5th but i drop down to six i went around the teacher, I was running like a race car slowly running out of fuel. On down hill i was the fastest man in the world.I realised I might not get a placing because I was sixed.

I ran like my my life depended on it I ran and ran I was so close to the finish line but I got six but i did try my best thats all that matters.I just got back and i'm so existed for ice cream.     

Orange Project

 For our strand this week we did a project on orange.  Like when we put the orange water/and in a cup.We put the orange in the cup and how much space it fills up. We had to test the volume, capacity, mass, weight and  units I easily got it.
