                         Leighton house visit
noooooo! another day at school so we got ready 25 minutes drive so annoying.When we got there we got all the games ready and we went. then to the Leighton house. then We went in it was so quiet there was no noise to be heard.

 We finally we saw them, there was a person that was 99 and it was here birthday. We rashed outside and we play ping pong but we got bored of it so we played something else.

We went inside and we had to sing our school song i was nervous max and kobe were the leaders and another the song we hand to do the haka. Then we had to say goodbye it was so much fun

I was so nervous one more school until it was our turn. 5 minutes later, no it's going to be our turn! Hunter starters us with Tu mai ra he sung one verse and then we're all sung.  After the song we did a haka.  Proudly we wore a black moko on our cheeks.

We sang Tu mai ra and Harae mai a paoa and others then it was the haka we i whakato and i whakato
Hunter was like kiamo he I was yelling the haka. I was in fifth row, but I reckon I should of been in 2nd row. I was grumpy.


After the song we sang wainui e  finally e honore I felt scared because I always get the words wrong but i saw my parents in the crowd and I felt koa after the song we got of the stage we said hi to our parents and then we left really whakahihi.

step, stop step, here i was coming to the marae.Wow look at all of those carvings, this looks like a good marae i'm so excited 'now we are going to enter" but first we has to have special greeting' if you don't  know how you have a special meeting let me tell you, first we mostly just sing song and just blah blah blah. After we finish that we go in the marae and the people tell as stories about the old in days. Finally when get out of the marae we get to play games yay something fun 😋👍.the first game we were playing handball. We split up in even groups and then bang, boom, bonce, me hitting the handball ohh i just got someone out ohhhhhhhhhhh! Wow the marae was tall as a tree and fat as elephantn brown's like chocolate

Fizzy pop!

Ahhhh new day at school the teacher said are you guys ready for the new science experiment! I was blowed and it was a cool one. It was called sweet n sour, Koka Rozie told us the instructions. I was  excited.  So me and my group went off and we got the recipes, it was a fun.  

Me, Cash and Stormur love doing science experiments. When we finished, Cash had a teaspoon of our sherbet that we made. He said that it tasted like a toffee shock, if you don't know what a toffee shock is read the magic faraway tree it's a cool book.  Then Stormur had some, he said it tasted weird 😐  

After it was my turn I was scared.......I got my spoon out, my hand was shaking.  Then I put it in my mouth so fast, I said it was ok.  It felt like all bubbly and fizzy. 👌 Then Koka Rozie said, "Time to pack up."  "No!" I said. To me it was the most fun experiment ever it was really cool  😎😎.

Cross country 2019!

                  😀 CROSS  COUNTRY😀

At school today we were doing cross country,''Are you guys ready to do the one and only cross country?'   I was excited.  We were going last so we had to wait finally we got there three two one and off we went. I was coming 5th it was tied but I had to keep going and when i did my 1st lap my shoe nearly came of. But it stayed on. but after somebody passed me finally I said to myself.  I tried to catch him but I was getting too tied so I jogged.  I was nearly there, the teacher was saying," Go Cory go cory!'' sheltered Koka Rozie and my family .  So that made me have lots of energy off I went I was like flash and I got up to the person. And boom I went past the finishing line. Even though I didn't get a placing I still was proud of myself

This term we did a piece of writing called five most important technology and I learned about that we have to memorize when we went to the museum.I found it challenging to memorize when we went to the museum there was heaps of stuff there.I know I was successful because i finished my piece of writing.
